ie, if they access Internet via AOL, they can't use netscape messenger to pick up their POP3 mail if you turn on Imail' s "smtp authentification". If that's what you want them to do (apart from Web messaging), then your recommendation should be to DL IE5.01.

How does this hurt me in security? Messing around the office we tried using AOL 4 and 5 with the same result... nothing! But if I have to make my server any less secure I'll just tell my AOL dialup customers to download Netscape.

I have users that use AOL and these workaround has done the job.
If you are using AOL, please follow these steps:
Launch "Web Messaging" and go to into the web server tab and enable the option "ignore source address in security check".

Yes, if they use either a separate version of IE or Netscape instead of the built-in browser it works. I am not aware of any other workaround at the moment.
