Thanks for all the suggestions. I finally figured out the problem. That little device that is sitting quietly in the corner, doing it's job flawlessly for years now, was still doing it without asking for any further attention. The router that I "hide" behind was set to only statically map a select group of ports thru, of which 8383 was NOT one of. Once I mapped that port, it appears to work correctly. For you non believers, you can try http://apratech.org:8383.
