I recently experienced a Imail server hardware
failure. I am now experiencing imap problems. I had
a server crash so I restored the imail directory
overtop of an existing install of Imail I had on a
web server as a disaster recovery tool. I then added
the ip addresses of the mx records to the web
server. I then restored the Imail registry from a
recent backup. I then rebooted with the services
set to start. Users are now able use imap mail with
Netscape but, when using Outlook, they are
repeatedly asked to confirm their username and
password. I am using Imail v5.08. Has anyone ever
experienced a similar
problem? If so, what was the solution?
