In addition to the various, valid remote-admin recommedations you receive
here, I recommend that you install 2 or more remote NT access solutions so
that if your primary method goes down (they all do eventually, some more
frequently than others), then you can use the 2nd, or 3rd methods to get in
and kick your primary method back to life.
ie, install a "ssh telnet" daemon for NT so you can get to the NT command
line and do "NET START and STOP <service>" commands for pcAnywhere or Imail
services. This requires you to have a ssh telnet client on your remote
machine. Sounds like a pain, but I don't recommend running a non-ssh
telnet setup.
