Same "problem here" but I'm working on something with beta version of Cold
fusion 4.5 server on linux and DB2 developper database.
Actually with that system (althought it's in very beta state) i can do the
following things automatically :
- Create dns entries on both primary and secondary servers.
- Add an ip to the linux box for the site
- Generate the apache config for the site / reload apache
- Create a ftp login for the customer with a random generated password
- Create and schedule the daily and monthly scripts for our http stats
generator for the site.
- Create a sample index.html with a welcome message (Welcome to
www.domain.tld) that is copied in the site directory.
- Create a printable html page of the customer site account information that
can be directly sent to the customer
and i'm finally working at the moment with perl on nt to generate the mail
accounts with existing Imail commandline tools.
It's not yet ready but it'll work.
If that can give you some hope :)
