from the other end. Typically after a timeout.

finding numerous RSET entries on my syslog. The senders are getting a
bounce saying that the mail could not be delivered but do not retry as
the SMTP server will retry for 5 days on its own.
What does the RSET
message in the log actually mean? If it means that for whatever reason the
IMAIL SMTP server had to reset the connection, what can
be reasons for a reset.
