Are you connecting via a WAN connection or LAN?
Could your ISP be blocking outbound port 25 from your location?

Hello All, I’ve got 2 Imail servers here (7.15 HF2) and starting today I’ve been having problems sending emails through one of my Imail servers, I’ll call it ‘Imail 1’. I cannot send using Outlook or Outlook Express thru Imail 1 but I can if using the Web Interface. I also cannot telnet to Imail 1. I get an error message that port 25 is being blocked. Now, my other server, Imail 2, can send emails just fine. I can telnet to it without issue. Let me also note that Imail 1 is my hosting mail server and is used by hundreds of folks. No one has contacted me in any way to complain which leads me to assume that it’s me. I’ve scanned my system for spyware and such and the only thing it found was a bunch of cookies and WildTangent, which I removed. I’ve tried disabling my McAfee AV software’s email scanner, I’ve rebooted my system, all to no avail. While I am running XP Pro I am not running SP2 and do not have the XP firewall active. Any thoughts on troubleshooting this? Thanks! Serveon, Inc. [EMAIL PROTECTED] 302-529-8640 |
