Sorry to be BIND ignorant...

We've been running NT DNS without any problems for 2+ years.
I have thought about switching to BIND because I want to automate
the creation of zone files and I can create text files in Cold Fusion.

Can someone tell me... Does BIND use one large text file for all
zones, or do you create a separate text file for each zone?

If I add zones, do I have to "restart" the Bind server (as with MS DNS
which has a
menu option to update for the changes) or are they picked up automatically?

Thanks

Chris
