Not weird at all. I'm not sure how you would
go about demoing an infrastructure product like this, especially since
configurations vary widely. Declude is essentially a toolset to use in
detecting spam.
However, they do provide a trial or lite
version. Set that up on your server in WARN only mode. You can then
inspect the logs or the headers of individual messages to see how it's
doing. Or you may want to modify the subject for messages that are
detected as possible spam, based on the individual tests you run and weights you
assign to them.
Under no circumstances should you delete messages
until you are comfortable with the detection rates and are assured of no false
positives in your delete range.

Subject: [IMail Forum] AntiSpam Program The thing that I am
finding with Declude is that there is no demo or presentation available. I
called a few times to setup a demo but they said that there is none. Also they
told me that to demo the product they install Declude on the mail server and
show us what happens. I am pretty comfortable that it would not crash the mail
server, but that is a weird way of demoing products (messing with the mail
server). So without demoing the product how can I show it to our
manager? Thanks; Eddie From:
