This might well be.
One solution might be to gateway all outbound mail through a separate
(non-IMail) box.

that we were being blacklisted because of our HELO did not match or
something. He said that it was not configurable in Imail even in the
latest
version, and it was going to be used more aggressively with other ISP's.

suggestions?
