Of course. > I'm hesitant to consider any product where they won't show the price > on their website until you fill out a quote form. Usually, that > tells me it is expensive and they are afraid of giving out the price > until they have a sales lead they lock in. Well, that's up to you. The primary reason they don't give a quote as that they don't want to compete directly with VARs. I share your reluctance and have had as many bad experiences as good in this area. But this is one product for which I don't mind the secrecy. > Is there any product (besides Microsoft cluster service) that is > suitable for building an HA file server configuration? Yes, as Dave suggests, there's Neverfail, as well as Veritas and a bunch of other apps. Block-level replication is not rocket science anymore, but the available offerings differ significantly by price and bells/whistles (often in an inverse relationship!), as well as in official OS vendor support (which is important in large corporate installations). --Sandy ------------------------------------ Sanford Whiteman, Chief Technologist Broadleaf Systems, a division of Cypress Integrated Systems, Inc. e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] SpamAssassin plugs into Declude! http://www.imprimia.com/products/software/freeutils/SPAMC32/download/release/ Defuse Dictionary Attacks: Turn Exchange or IMail mailboxes into IMail Aliases! http://www.imprimia.com/products/software/freeutils/exchange2aliases/download/release/ http://www.imprimia.com/products/software/freeutils/ldap2aliases/download/release/ To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
