But that's exactly what IP white/black lists are, do you explicitly like or dislike the IP address connecting to your server. The questions you should be asking yourself yourself for any type of filtering/categorizing list is: + do you agree with their philosophy of what should go into the list? + do you agree with their procedures for adding & removing entries? + are their false positive/negative rates acceptable?
