Sorry Rod. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Rod Dorman Sent: Wednesday, March 29, 2006 2:24 PM To: Todd Richards Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: [IMail Forum] Error message?
Could you please not hijack threads? The original "Re: [IMail Forum] How do I stop this spam" e-mail had a message id of Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> When you hit reply even though you changed the Subject your mail had the header In-Reply-To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> That links the two messages together and causes those of us who read our mail 'threaded' to get annoyed with an off topic response. It also means when someone isn't interested in the thread and kills it off that your e-mail wont be read thus lessening the number of people that might be able to help you. If you are 'replying' to create a new message instead of starting one from scratch please delete the In-Reply-To: header in addition to changing the Subject: header. -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] "The avalanche has already started, it is too Rod Dorman late for the pebbles to vote." - Ambassador Kosh To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/ --- [This E-mail scanned for viruses by Declude] --- [This E-mail scanned for viruses by Declude] To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
