So  use  "Precedence: list" which is a better definition of the contents
as  well  as  one  of  the  traditional  'vacation'  don't reply to this
strings.

Nothing  says you can't have both "Precedence: list" and "x-imail: list"
in the headers.

Proper  auto  responders don't send *any* response to a list message but
of course they're looking for a traditional header record, not something
unique to IMail.
