Eric,

I enabled Verbose Logging and will capture a full session.
Being broken on their end was my first thought, but I've since heard from other customers having the same trouble sending to different addresses/domains including msn.

Could this be a DNS problem? I'm using MS DNS on the same box and pointing IMail to 127.0.0.1.

Since you are connecting to sbcw-law.com and are trying to send to sbcw-law.com (just a guess without the full log for this sessions <hint hint>) I would have to say they are broken on their end.. I would also bet this is a backup MX for their domain and is misconfigured to not relay for them
