Hi, Actually, we're doing a kind of an evaluation for low budget RAID1 Controllers for S-ATA. We want to have a standard machine for small Imail-Servers. The last days we tested the RAID Controller RocketRAID 1520 from highpoint-tech.com. Usually, a RAID Controller for two drives is setup in minutes and usually it works. With this controller, we made very experiences. No RAID1 Array will ever work, a duplication process of the disks fails every time. We played around with two controllers of the same type with no results. The only result i have is, that we have to give those Controllerd back into the recycling process.
