Actually, no. They want to use the function to set up a default delete
status, then uncheck the messages they want to keep, then click delete to
lose the ones that were left checked. This in the page level, not on the
entire mailbox or folder.
It sounds backwards, but some of my users delete a lot more than they want
to read.

There is an empty folder option which is what I think they went to instead
of checkboxes.

One more item that I passed along to support, but I think you should know.
On the webmail interface there is no "select all" at the top of the
checkbox
column. Some of my users like to be able to delete spam without checking
the
individual boxes. We had this in 8.15 and previous versions, and I've
heard
about it from several customers.
