Does this mean that according to bright mail you are guilty by association?

Yep. Most organizations of any size get at least a /24 from their provider.

So how big is your netblock? Do you have a /24 (255 addresses / 252 usable) ?

If so, it seems you have problem in your system.

If not, as it says, take this up with your provider. It seems they are not doing a good job of policing their users..

If you can't get your own /24 from your provider, threaten to move. You might have to renumber your network, but your provider will probably not want to lose you.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Blocked by Brightmail

Our emails have recently been blocked by optonline.net. All of our attempts to contact optonline.net have been unsuccessful. One of our customers that uses optonline.net contacted their technical staff and asked why our company couldn't send mail to his optonline.net account. They informed our customer
that they use Brightmail to filter spam and we should contact them.

I sent a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] but have not received
a response.

Does any other ways to contact anyone at Brightmail, or a different way to
handle this situation?

Here is a copy of the undeliverable message:

RCPT TO generated following response:
550 5.7.1 Your mail from IP 206.222.179.98 was rejected Too many
DNSBL-listed hosts in /24 network surrounding your host Please Contact your
ISP to rectify this : [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Does this mean that according to bright mail you are guilty by association?

Thanks-
Joel
