Hi Sandy, I think I finally found the problem after about 20 hrs of testing and 6 hours of Microsoft phone support. It turns out the DNS servers provided by our ISP was something funky wrong with them. I should have know. I had been seeing lots of Event ID 4000 showing up in the event logger. I was eventually clued that it was the DNS server when I put in a domain specifically for my MSN email. This allowed me to esentially bypass the DNS servers going directly to my MSN emal server. Boy was I surprised. I then switched my DNS over to a public one, made some more adjustments in SMTP, and started and stopped IIS and SMTP. Then everything seemed to start working.

Issue has nothing to do with ASP-submitted pages, if they are getting successfully moved to Queue. Outcome should be the same if msgs are submitted using standard SMTP -- and your logs will tell you what is happening. Likely DNS screwing up outbound, could be more complex. D/l Microsoft's SMTP Test utility to simulate somewhat closely what MS SMTP is attempting. --Sandy ------------------------------------ Sanford Whiteman, Chief Technologist Broadleaf Systems, a division of Cypress Integrated Systems, Inc. e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] SpamAssassin plugs into Declude! http://www.imprimia.com/products/software/freeutils/SPAMC32/download/release / Defuse Dictionary Attacks: Turn Exchange or IMail mailboxes into IMail Aliases! http://www.imprimia.com/products/software/freeutils/exchange2aliases/downloa d/release/ http://www.imprimia.com/products/software/freeutils/ldap2aliases/download/re lease/ To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/ To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
