For the SMTPD32 vulnerability, there's no workaround within IMail.

I'd say they will *probably* leave you alone, but there are other ways
of  fingerprinting an IMail system, and you can't patch the binary for
all of them.

I  would  sleep  slightly  better,  so it's worth a shot... as long as
nobody  else at the company thinks you're absolutely protected against
this  particular  vulnerability  (in other words, if there're adequate
disclaimers).
