Steve,

In IMail Administrator, under User Administration, there are the User
Utilities and the Global change tool does allow you to reset the Allow
Password change setting. Just remember that there may be a few users who
should not be allowed to change the password (the root user, at least).

Subject: [IMail Forum] Allow Password Change

Hello,
Anyone ran into a problem where all the account do not have "Allow Password
Change" selected when upgrading from 8.22 to 2006.2?

I've had a couple clients call and complain that they can not change their
passwords and upon research we find that the check box is no longer allowing
these updates.

Is there a blanket statement that can be executed to change all the users to
select the checkbox so that people can change their passwords?

Regards,
