Dan, Good point. In a very different context, our web-based library catalogs are set to time-out but a member of the users' group (not the vendor itself) developed a pop-up window (there is also a CSS version) stating that the session was about to end and would the user like to continue or start a new one. If the user doesn't respond, the window and the session expire. On the face of things, it doesn't look like an enhancement that would require a major rewrite. Still, that is not what we have now.
