Sandy, Thanks for the reply and the help. But I can not wrap my head around this. Is there any way you can point me to a how to site? This sounds just right for our company but I need to understand all the goings on behind it. I did get your exchange2aliases script, and looked at it, but I'm not a programmer, even remotely, so I was not really understanding what the script did. Any further help will be greatly appreciated, I appreciate everything you've done already. Thanks!

Like John said, exchange2aliases (see my sig) is absolutely suited for this with minimal hassle. The key to such setup is having a routing subdomain known to the MX+mailbox server and the alternate mailbox-only server. The *users* never see this domain anywhere, but it allows for transparent address rewriting to flexibly deliver mail off-box after acceptance by your IMail MX. (With Imail + Exchange + exchange2aliases in particular, there is even a little-known feature that makes it possible to do this without having a routing domain, but on principle it is still a good idea so that the theory would be portable across other MTAs in future.) --Sandy ------------------------------------ Sanford Whiteman, Chief Technologist Broadleaf Systems, a division of Cypress Integrated Systems, Inc. e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] SpamAssassin plugs into Declude! http://www.imprimia.com/products/software/freeutils/SPAMC32/download/release / Defuse Dictionary Attacks: Turn Exchange or IMail mailboxes into IMail Aliases! http://www.imprimia.com/products/software/freeutils/exchange2aliases/downloa d/release/ http://www.imprimia.com/products/software/freeutils/ldap2aliases/download/re lease/ To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/ To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
