In our case, many users reported the same problem during the same time frame.
I wasn't about to spend time digging through a dozen or more mailboxes and
fixing each of them, if that was the case. Immediately getting the system back
online was critical. This shouldn't be happening.

Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] user Web Messaging problem after upgradeI have
encountered similar symptoms with 2006.1 now and again with users. They can
login, but the message list never loads and the web browser continues to
attempt to receive data. In all cases I have seen there was a large attachment
in their mailbox. We would just remove the large email using a text editor and
they could logon again without having to restart any
services. Will -----Original Message-----From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

after upgrade I just upgraded on Sunday from 2006.1 to 2006.21 and experienced
a similar issue tonight. Using IE 7.x on fully patched WinXP, web messaging
hung on logon. Using Firefox 2.0.0.5 on fully patched WinXP box, web messaging
hung on logon.
Single mx domain on server with under 500 accounts. Broadband speeds all the
way around.
Threw up my hands and restarted entire server after simply restarting services,
failed to correct the issue. Reboot worked. Log files unclear so far. Has
anyone else seen this yet?

Bruce,Thanks for the heads-up. I haven't checked to see how many of my users
might have AOL at home so I don't know how many calls I'll get but at least I
know what to tell them now. (I never did like AOL.)~SusanBruce Barnes wrote:>
