Try an MTU of 1424 or 1024 at both ends ... maybe a little slow at times,
but more stable over frame relay.

(Note ... it's been a few years since I worked on private frame relays ... I
now light my own fiber or VPN between sites.)

Check the MTU settings.....


MTU settings on both the host and remote router for that serial interface
are 1500.

This has never changed on either router since the line was brought up back
in June.

Should I change it and if so, what to?
