Jeff,
I currently have about 275 Faculty/Staff and about 3500 students on my Imail
server. It has been very reliable. It is the original install from May of
98. It is running on a 200pro/128M Ram/2X4.3 SCSI drives.
Also if you are planning a migration and want to use the NT SAM database
here is a great tool. It allows you to create users in NT out of a
delimited text file. Very Nice!

My company is looking at migrating to IMail 6.02 immediately. My only
concern is scalability. I'm curious to know what size of user-base
everyone has, the amount of daily traffic, and what type of machine the
mail server is on. Our company currently has about 2,000 users, 30,000
mail messages per day, and we have a dual-Pentium Pro 200 with 128 meg
of RAM. Will this be sufficient? What about for double the workload?
I see that the stats are about right according to the technical specs,
but I'm interested to know about real-world examples. Thank you all for
