no experience with the Max3000 but we use the Max4048 for ISDN over PRI
and love them. We plugged them in about 2 years ago and every now and then
i even remember we have them since I haven't had to work on them for
anything
-unlike my NT servers that I can count trying to fall sleep like sheep ;)
the 1U size is impressive and the processor speeds seem much better than the
4048 other than that I use a lot of ascend (now lucent) equipment and have
received great support (even on used equipment). their free support make
take
a while to get back to you depending on their call load, but have always
been
able to help. i'm sure paid/priority support is even better.
