i just tested this with some special german characters on my system and i
have been able to reproduce this behavior.
Without attachment everything is working fine with attachment i got the same
result as you.
I am using IMAL 5.0.8 on my machine.
I can remember that we had this problem in an earlier release. This error
occured first after the upgrade to version 5.0.4. This relase showed the
error with the special characters in both cases, with and without
attachments. In a later release the error was fixed, but i have never tested
it with attachments. It seems that this error was only fixed for mails
without attchaments. The problem is only one file in the imail directory. If
you replace the file imail1.exe with the one from version 5.0.3 everything
works correct. I have just tested it. This works only if you are still
working with version 5.0.X of Imail.
