While talking to 192.168.1.99
I said:
    MAIL FROM:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

and received the response:
    503 Bad sequence of commands.
-------------------------------------------

I don't even know where to begin on understanding this one. Is it saying
that the list server is sending commands incorrectly?

On the AOL front, I'm continuing to work with the list owner to get a list
of the accounts that are reporting bounces. Then I will try Dusty's
suggestion (thanks, Dusty!).

I would suggest taking a look at the logs and seeing if the
message in question is in fact delivered to AOL. Or if
it is skipped in Imail. If it is, try sending a test message
to that account also. Some AOL accounts have filters
turned on that do not alow list messages to get through
to them. Most of the time the user has enabled these
filters not knowing the impact.
