I stand corrected.

In the right panel, clicking on the header bar will sort the zones. So a 
list of 1000+ zones is now sorted.  Somehow, scrolling linearly through 
1000+ records still seems nearly as inviting as ever.  1000+ records of 
anything is still a database pb, needing db query techniques.
