Hi, I ran into that problem, I'm not sure how big  an "alias" can be but I
did have that problem. I was trying to convert all my sendmail aliases into
Imail, when I found out big ones like my all-staff would crash and nobody
would get the emails...  BUT it was really simple to fix that problem, I
just started using IMails "List Servers" which is pretty much the same thing
as the alias but it's more powerful, you can do much more so it was better
anyways.   Hope that answers your question...
