account id: jane.doe&theirdomain.com
pop host: corp.ourdomain.net

yes that is an ampersand... and yes, this is documented in a very obscure
place in I think the Imail user manual.. I had a hard time finding it but
thats the login that works for all mail clients... many will not allow the
@ within the account id.
