Anybody out there have any experience with the MAC and Mail and News 3.0?
I'm trying to talk a user through configuring their Mac. I had them change
the SMTP host and POP Host to 'corp.ourdomain.net' and the Account ID to
'[EMAIL PROTECTED]'. She does a send/receive, gets an error that the
pop host was not found, and then goes back to preferences. The Pop Host was
automagicly changed to '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' and the Account
ID was changed to 'jane.doe'.
Why does it do this? I thought Macs were so easy to work with.
Any help would be appreciated.
