I am also having a problem like this one with one of my customers.
When they send an e-mail with an attachment to other people in the company
using the web client, everything works fine.
When they send an e-mail with at attachment to other people in the company
using Outlook 2000, SOMETIMES users that view their mail using the I-mail
web client will see that an attachment was sent (little paperclip in the
subject line) but in the body of the message there is nothing to click on to
download the attachment. If that same message is viewed using Outlook 2000,
everything works great. (The problem also happens when a MAC using Outlook
Express tries to open the attachment.) The problem only seems to happen
when sending FROM Outlook 2000.
The worst part of this problem is that I cannot for the life of me duplicate
the problem, nor can I-mail. I have, however, seen the problem - a user
gave me her pword and I logged into her account using the web client.
Can anyone shed some light on this situation? The only other solution on
the table is build an Exchange solution from the ground up (yuk...)
