All went quiet for a couple of months after the SMTP AUTH patch came out, I
finally upped to 6.03, then last week, people start complaining that the
SMPT AUTH is not totally reliable.
>I have the server totally upgraded now, but I thought people were still

I put together a PERL script to check SMTP AUTH. If SMTP AUTH fails, the
script sends a msg to an Imail pgm alias batch file to start/stop SMTP
service.
Since I don't have the pb, I can't test my script, so I asked 5 SMTP AUTH
complainers from last to work with me on testing it, but haven't made any
progress with them.
