ip-less domains under IMail require changes on the customer-side of things 
(mail client) -- example:

IP'd host
---------
bob.com
Username: bob
POP3 Server: bob.com

IPless host
-----------
bob.com
Username: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
POP3 Server: bob.com

This differs by e-mail package (ie, Netscape Mail works differently than 
Outlook Express, etc, etc) and can induce support issues with customers.
