If the database doesn't put the "From:" field in there, it is still possible for this 
to happen.  I have seen cases where the "From:" field was not included in the original 
message, but it was placed in by a mail server along the way.  In this case, the IMail 
server (when receiving the message locally, not when relaying it) could be entering 
the "From:" field, whereas the third party ISP's mail server may not.
