We have a separate box which pulls a copy of everything new once a day from
every server. That "Hot Backup" sits on a 3 drive Raid. From there, it's
dropped into a Tandberg4k drive and the tapes are cycled once per day in a
week-long loop, with one tape stored off site.

Running the nightly grab like this and staging it on hard disk makes the
process very fast, and most recoveries close to immediate.
