I have 3 dedicated I-mail 6.03 servers. One server started exhibiting this
behavoir yesterday. This server has approximately 1400 user accounts.
After stopping the Iwebmsg service and restarting it the processor
utilization would drop back down to where our month old baseline reports
show that it should be. Within an hour both processors would return to high
utilization. Averaging 50% utilization on both processors. Stopping and
restarting the iwebmsg service would solve the problem for a little while
but eventually the 50% average would resume. This last time I disabled the
auto restart server in both the monitor tab for the WWW service and under
web messaging configuration. I then stopped and restarted all services and
the problem hasn't returned in the 3 hours since I have done this.

What other stuff do you have loaded on the machine? Is it a dedicated mail
server? How many accounts are on the machine?

I have added the patch and yesterday rebooted the server twice because of
100% utilization.
