MS SMTP service running, necessarily, on a non-standard port for SMPT 
service would be pretty a obscure spam target, but there isn't away 
in MS SMTP to restrict relay?  I hear in W2K SMTP there is a 
relay-for-addresses.

Since you've already got it running, I suggest sticking with it. It's 
a very common approach.
