Frank,

Just see that you found the mail, so you can kind of skip over this first
part (still want you to see it, so you might get a better idea where you
went wrong).

Does the user, admin, in that domain, have a forward on the account? There
might be another message in the log that show the forward action. If you use
IMail Client on the server (pick the domain and userIDs from drop down
menus, do _not_ enter anything in the POP3 section, click OK), do you see
any messages? Close the client and try Web MSG and if it shows messages,
IMail is OK. If you do see the mailbox and messages these ways, then your
client is not connecting to this account, check its settings.

Provide a password to the account and the host info for connection and any
one of us can check the account and settings.

Just connected with this server and find it responds with:
220 X1 NT-ESMTP Server cx358324-a (IMail 6.04 EVAL 13-1)

Rather a strange name for IMail to be using as it does expect a 'real' and
complete hostname. Then I checked DNS and find:
cx358324-a.sibella.com.
    24.11.193.168
Which is the same IP as mail. and the domain name, but again IMails
'Official Host Name' should be set to match that of the computers TCPIP
settings for Host and Domain Names (I suspect it should be
'cx358324-a.sibella.com').

I suspect you have, in addition to this domain, other domains in IMail with
at least one having the OHN as 'sibella.com' and maybe even another with
'mail.sibella.com'. If you do, then they are not needed. You can provide
email for all these host names on a single IMail domain.

I come to this conclusion when I performed some SMTP commands while
connected to your server and that is shown below (continued from above):
vrfy [EMAIL PROTECTED]
250 ok its for <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
DD - This line tells me that mail.sibella.com is a domain or alias and admin
is a user
vrfy admin
550 unknown user <admin>
DD - This line tells me that in this domain (cx358324-a) admin is not a user
vrfy [EMAIL PROTECTED]
250 ok its for <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
DD - This line tells me that sibella.com is a domain or alias and admin is a
user

This also tells me that if you are connecting to this computers IP, using
any one of the 3 hostnames, you are connecting to the domain 'cx358324-a'
and Admin does not exist, so there never will be mail for this user in this
domain. If this is the mailbox you are attempting to connect to, you will
not be able to.

You need to login to one of the other domains in IMail, and if they are
virtuals without IPs, your username needs to be in the form
'[EMAIL PROTECTED]' or [EMAIL PROTECTED] (which could be completely
different domains and users!!). Best bet is to use Web MSG and try both
usernames and see if that shows the same or different maiboxes.

If what I suspect is true, it might be to your advantage to remove the
installation of IMail and start over, letting IMails install fillout the
settings (except maybe the drive\directory). There are fairly easy ways to
save your current users (check the KB, use Regedit method) and modify the
results for importation (see KB again) to this 'correctly' configured,
single domain system. I think you may encounter more difficulties
understanding the workings of IMail, with what may be a messed up
configuration.
