Needless to say, they are upset and are looking for a redundant solution.
Anyone have an idea on this? Isn't it possible to have a 64k isdn line
installed from another provider, and add a second mail exchange record in
the DNS, and have Imail listen on both connections? That way if a SMTP host
tried the first MS record and got no repsonse, it would try the second MX
record and the mail would come in via the alternate ISP/route? Anyone with
experience in this?
The server is Win2k if that helps, and there is a Linksys DSL/Cable
NAT/Firewall in the front.
Thanks for any input
