I was curious can you just replace the words SPAMM with like # or something like that 
so it would create a comment

A text editor or sed ?

In spamlist.txt, delete the first 150 lines of ip's, globally delete 
" JUNK" and " SPAMMER", for those line that don't contain a @, add a 
@ in column one, and you still have 5000+ Imail-KILL-LIST-compatible addresses.
