You don't need a host alias in the NT hosts file. Do everything in DNS:
dizonline.com has A but no MX
web.dizonline.com has A and MX
mail.dizonline.com has A and MX

You don't have to have PTR, but it's very recommended. That's not
causing whatever pb you haven't explained.
