A syslog server is a tcp/ip network service to where machines can
send their logging output rather than to their own internal
logs. There is a "well known" tcp/ip port for syslog service, look
for the "services" file in you NT C: drive.
I bet MS has a tcp/ip "unix wannabe" syslog service in one of their
reskits. Or you could set up a little, old FreeBSD or Linux box on
your LAN to be the syslog server.
