That would likely be because IMail thinks it is the host for that domain.
Check to see if you have any aliases for that domain set up.

Has anyone had an issue where IMAIL won't send mail to a particular domain
no matter what the settings are?  My server says "unknown user" but it never
attempts to contact the remote mail server and for some reason only checks
locally.  I have had this issue in the past on different occasions.

Keep in mind this has nothing to do with relay settings as it is set to
"relay for anyone" and still does this!
