RAID5 is the wrong RAID for mail I/O. It's the slowest RAID, esp when 
writing 100's of 1000's of smallish files to the mailq, maillog file, 
and mailboxes.

Switch to RAID 0 + 1, striping across disks for speed and mirrored 
disks for redundancy.

Use one disk channel(s) for the mailbox storage and another disk 
channel for the mailq/maillog actvity.  And use 128 megs on-board disk cache.
