>the server with nic is ss1.gosafetrans.net

that domain name doesn't ring bell, and it sure don't win no seegar, either:
o The server "ss2.gosafetrans.net." did not reply
The server "ss2.gosafetrans.net." did not reply when it was
queried for the name "gosafetrans.net.". This indicates that the
server is not running, or it is currently unreachable.
o Non-authoritative data received from the server
"ss1.gosafetrans.net."
The server "ss1.gosafetrans.net." is listed as being
authoritative for the domain, but it does not contain
authoritative data for it.
o None of the authoritative name servers were able to provide
information for the zone
None of the servers which were listed as being authoritative for
the zone contained information for the zone. No further testing
of this zone will be possible.
That's a non-starter. Fix that turkey befote T-day arrives.

good, but it looks like you still got syntax errors you zone so no
DNS is answering authoratively. Let me guess: you can CNAME's mixed
in with NS data, etc, etc.

sure wouldn't help. Send me your gosafetrans.net zone file and I'll
have a look, and go see why SS2 isn't responding at all. We'll get
your knickers untwisted in short order.
