If you are using the imail database, how do you save that? Just copy the
domains folder? (IE users, lists, etc?)

Hi,
Save your Imail or external Database. Save the registry setting just in
case you need to copy some of them. Uninstall Imail and reinstall. Restore
the database and apply patches.
Hope this helps

Subject: [IMail Forum] revert to base install
Hi, I have had some issues applying patches to my machine, and I was
wondering what is the best procedure to revert back to the original install
files, so that I can try re-installing the patches again?
thanks in advance.

Subject: [IMail Forum] fresh install V6.01 - can't apply patches.
First off, I really apologize if this is a double post - I never saw my
other one come through! And if not, here is the issue:
Hi everyone I did a fresh install of imail v6.01 with a fresh install of w2k
adv srvr.
Now when I got to apply the patches to bring imail up to v6.05, I get the
old :
"Old file not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update
done since file contents do no match."
I downloaded the file called "imail605.exe" which says it can be upgraded
from v 6.0x.
I know according to the KB it states that the file version is wrong.... but
how can this be the case for me? a new install, and the ipswitch page says
it is good for my version... Any ideas? Anyone else have this issue? Is
there another patch of somekind that I need to install first?
And now that I have tried applying this patch, is it going to screw up the
installs of any previous patches that might be needed?
thanks in advance.
