I'm not sure about other clients, but if I type a "friendly name" into
Netscape's To: field, say "Cal Frye," it's supposed to look it up in the
Address Book and translate an email address. If there is no Address Book
entry, it appends my domain name to each fragment, trying to make a
valid address, i.e. it becomes "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" and "[EMAIL PROTECTED]",
neither of which is a real user, so none of it goes through. But your
poor Parker matches the last half, even if no one matches the first
names.
In other words, it's a client issue, not a server one. Train the users.
And since it's a client default domain, it's one of your own users, too.
